Michelle Brown Anglicare - Parenting Teens Parents and carers of young people in years 7-9 are invited to attend our first John Paul College Community Network evening for 2018. The evening will consist of snacks, tea and coffee, and a facilitated discussion on parenting adolescents.
Michelle Brown, Parent Resource Coordinator from Anglicare, is an experienced facilitator who will ensure a relaxed and conversational setting. You may wish to discuss communication, rules and consequences, managing anxiety, appropriate expressions of feelings or you may have other topics you wish to discuss. We recognise being a parent is not easy and any support helps. It is hoped you will leave this session reassured that challenges are common to all families and that you are not alone on your parenting journey.
So come along, learn some parenting strategies, meet other parents and carers and connect with the JPC community.
